A total of 256 male players and 98 female players have registered for this year's edition, making it one of the largest editions yet.

The opening ceremony on April 10 at 5:30 PM will be graced by former cricketers, prominent members of the Sindhi community, team owners, players, and their families — promising a festive and electric atmosphere at the MCC Mrunal Cricket Ground.

Beyond Cricket: A Tournament with a Social Heart

What makes the Sindhi Premier League truly special is its commitment to giving back. The funds raised through the tournament are used for social causes. This year, the organizers have taken a heartwarming initiative — they will take full responsibility for the education of a girl student from Sadhu Vaswani Mission. This gesture reflects the true spirit of the Sindhi community — compassionate, generous, and forward-thinking.

Seven Years of Community Spirit

The SPL has been consistently organized for the past seven years by the youth of the Sindhi community in Pune. What started as a small community cricket event has grown into a full-fledged league that attracts hundreds of players and thousands of spectators every year.

Organizer Naresh Nasha and his team deserve immense credit for keeping this tradition alive year after year. The SPL is a shining example of how sports can unite a community, celebrate shared culture, and create meaningful social impact at the same time.
